The story of a tree
The aim of this workshop is to draw children a little further, beyond the borders represented by the word of "the tree"; a bit into the mystery and what the tree and the forest actually lived through, what were their feelings and communication.
You will smell, taste and hear a story about one tree, and about what the tree experienced. We will combine history with forestry, music with painting; some of you will find yourself on another continent and in another time.
We will work in small groups and each of the groups will introduce their own story from a tree life. Please prepare one exciting anniversary from the history of your nation and one interesting event from your childhood that you will share with the others.
The workshop will take place outdoors; an ideal number of participants are 20. Sportswear that can become soiled a bit, knife, pencil and twine are welcome.
