The aim of this workshop is to explain the importance of dendrometry and forest management. It introduces the participants to several activities that are helpful in explaining the modern forestry devices within forest pedagogy, such as height or diameter measurement, assessment of age of tree, orientation in the forest... The activities also present the forest management and its purpose. The workshop is accompanied by the activities that can be carried out with the worksheets in the forest for better understanding.
In our workshop we will go into the forests and we will measure trees and focus on measuring devices and forestry management activities. Participants will be actively involved in the program individually and in groups.
There are no special requirements necessary but the participants should wear outdoor shoes and rainclothings. We will join for two hours with about 20 participants.
