Municipal Forests Prague makes use of the rich natural background, which is at the same time managed by the organization.
Forest educators utilize all possibilities offered by the unique environment and represent one of the main pillars of environmental education in the metropolitan city of the Czech Republic.
In our programmes we operate nearly 300 km of watercourses, 67 ponds, about 3,000 ha of forest, a number of large urban parks, the busiest wildlife rescue station in the Czech Republic, 4 zoo-corners with more than 30 forest animal species, ornamental nursery hinterland.
