The Czech University of Life Sciences (CULS) is a public university (according to Act No. 111/1998 Coll. on universities).
CULS celebrated its 110th anniversary in 2016. Faculty of Forestry and Wood Sciences is one of the six faculties of the university. Faculty of Forestry and Wood Sciences of the Czech University of Life Sciences Prague provide a comprehensive forestry education system to encourage and support rational forest management and sustainable utilization of its huge natural resources. Our Faculty has become a respected international research centre.
In the field of forestry pedagogy, we mainly organize regional and national round of the Young People in European Forests competition and educational events for the public.
