Forests of the Czech Republic, state enterprise founded on January 1, 1992 by the Ministry of Agriculture.
The main activity of the company is the management of 1.2 million ha of state-owned forests, i.e almost 85 % of all state forests and more than a half of all forests in the Czech Republic. In addition, the company is in charge of more than 38 thousand km of small watercourses and torrents, as well as 830 water reservoirs.
