The state-owned enterprise, Vojenské lesy a statky ČR (VLS), has a tradition spanning more than eighty years and, as an administrator of 125.000 hectares of unique natural sites, ranks amongst the biggest forestry companies in the Czech Republic. VLS′s activities focus primarily on forestry, game keeping and hunting but also on fishing and farming.
