Forest pedagogy is provided by more than 30 SVOL members
SVOL is a voluntary non profit making organization associating non state forest owners and managers. It has 613 members
who manage 15 % of the forest area in the Czech Republic.
Main tasks: participation in law-making, participation in the development of strategic documents and programmes, educational and consulting activities, international cooperation, joint timber trade, forest pedagogy. SVOL’s activities are penetrated by efforts to respect property rights, to reduce state dirigisme and bureaucracy, to balance the productive, ecological and social functions of forests, to increase the competitiveness of forest assets and to improve the professional level of their management.
